• Opening and securing the school premises as required.
• Conducting routine inspections of buildings, grounds and access points.
• Completing general repairs and minor maintenance tasks.
• Identifying faults and reporting specialist repair requirements.
• Maintaining playgrounds, pathways and external areas.
• Monitoring site security and reporting suspicious activity or damage.
• Completing basic health and safety checks.
• Ensuring corridors, entrances and communal areas remain safe and accessible.
• Supporting room preparation for school activities and events.
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with the movement of equipment.
• Maintaining safe storage of tools and maintenance supplies.
• Liaising with contractors and providing access when required.
• Reporting hazards, defects and maintenance concerns to management.
• Following site procedures and safeguarding requirements.
