Job summary

The King Alfred School in Highbridge is seeking a dynamic School Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will link the school with the Pathway Trust Central Team to ensure day-to-day operations are compliant, efficient and aligned with our vision of a great education for every child.

The role focuses on facilities, compliance, and administration, with some HR and event coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and operations.
• Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience in HR and event coordination within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Build productive relationships with the Headteacher, Leadership Team and external partners.
• Ensure effective communication with staff and stakeholders in person, written and by phone.
• Ensure systems and processes for compliance, safeguarding and data protection are in place.
• Coordinate site estate, admin teams and provide support to school teams as required.
• Act as liaison for staff-related safeguarding matters and regulatory reporting.
