Job summary

Birchwood School, Cardiff is seeking an experienced School Operations Manager to join the senior leadership team. You will ensure smooth operational functions, data management and high-quality educational experiences for pupils.

Working with the Head of School, you will lead HR administration, facilities, health and safety, budget monitoring and GDPR compliance, while developing staff across roles and ensuring regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school business, operations or management role.
• Knowledge of compliance, safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and budgets.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent relationships with staff, families and external professionals.
