Job summary

The Education Network is partnering with a wonderful Special School in Birmingham to recruit a School Business Manager who will support the Headteacher with day-to-day operations. You will lead HR, Health & Safety, Facilities and Admin, delivering CPD to staff, attending SLT meetings, and promoting high standards across the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager in education. Experience in the education sector and Birmingham HR processes is essential; the role offers

Qualifications

• Lead and manage HR, Health & Safety, Facilities and Admin Support.
• Deliver CPD and training to staff members.
• Attend SLT and school management meetings as part of the SLT.
• Act as the school's Health & Safety Lead.
• Promote the high standards of the school.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR processes and administrative operations within the school.
• Manage a small team of office and site staff.
• Collaborate with the Headteacher on day-to-day operations and strategic priorities.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety policies.
