PS6 Min £29,697.00 FTE / £24,248.00 Pro rata / Max £31,848.00 FTE / £26,003 Pro rata

PS7 Min £32,512 FTE / £26,445.00 Pro rata / Max £34,654 FTE / £29,927 Pro rata

32.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 08:30 – 15:30 daily with 30 min unpaid break), term time + inset days + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)

At Hounsome Fields Primary School, we’re looking for a passionate, proactive School Office Manager to join our vibrant, expanding team as we open our doors in September 2025. This is your chance to play an integral role in shaping our school culture and community from the very start!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, conscientious, and ambitious School Office Manager with a passion for working in a small school. You will lead our friendly and supportive Administration Team, providing operational support across Finance, HR, Admissions, Lettings, and Premises.

We are looking for someone who:
  • has excellent operational management skills, is outward-looking, proactive, and solution-focused
  • combines solid business skills with an understanding of operational management and finance in a school or similar organization
  • aims to add value across all functions, including HR, facilities, procurement, income generation, and Health & Safety
  • can effectively line-manage all aspects of the premises manager role
  • has the ability to manage and quality assure facilities management, premises, and catering
  • can see the big picture while paying attention to detail
  • is organized, able to multitask, communicate efficiently and promptly, and meet deadlines
