Job summary

Witherslack Group in the United Kingdom is looking for a maintenance worker to keep our school building, vehicles and grounds in top condition. You’ll do general repairs, drive school vehicles, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for our young people.

We offer a salary of £24,796 - £27,694 with excellent benefits, 35 days holiday including bank holidays, health and wellbeing support, and training on safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
• Be open to Health & Safety and other relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive school vehicles and ensure they are in good working order.
• Maintain school grounds and garden areas to a neat standard.
• Be a friendly, approachable presence; training on safeguarding will be provided.
