Witherslack Group is hiring a maintenance worker to help keep our school buildings safe and welcoming for young people. You’ll handle general repairs, drive school vehicles and look after the grounds, ensuring the site is tidy and well‑maintained.

You’ll be part of a team that values safeguarding; training will be provided, including a DBS check, and you’ll join a supportive environment at the Secret Garden project.

Qualifications

• General repairs and maintenance of school facilities.
• Ability to maintain vehicles and grounds.
• Experience in health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general day-to-day repairs to keep the school running.
• Drive school vehicles and ensure they are well maintained.
• Keep grounds and gardens neat and tidy.
• Participate in safeguarding training as needed.
