Job summary

Christ the King in Arnold, Nottingham, part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, seeks a Library Assistant to manage a welcoming library space and support students with information needs. You will create displays, handle resource circulation, and respond to requests to help pupils engage with learning and school life.

Ideal candidates have GCSEs including English and Maths, relevant experience with young people, and a commitment to the Catholic ethos.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming library with displays and signs.
• Issue and discharge resources using the library system.
• Respond to requests in person, by phone or email to locate information.
• Work with students to build positive relationships and support school life.
• Demonstrate excellent IT skills and work on your own initiative.
