• Be responsible for the planning, purchasing and preparing freshly cooked meals for 50+ covers.
• To be responsible for the running of the kitchen ensuring hygiene standards meet current legislation and efficiency of the kitchen is maximized.
• Support with maintaining accurate records in accordance with
• Prepare ingredients, equipment, and resources needed for daily menu.
• Monitor use of ingredients and equipment, helping to manage stock levels and order supplies when required.
• Management of the kitchen budget for purchasing required.
• Team working within both the catering team, and wider school community.
• Undertake relevant training, including safeguarding, manual handling, and SEN-specific strategies, integrating effective communication and empathy.
