Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Kitchen Manager for Sandgate School. The role focuses on planning, purchasing, and preparing freshly cooked meals for 50+ covers, while ensuring hygiene and cost efficiency in a school kitchen. The post requires safeguarding awareness and teamwork across catering and school staff.

This permanent, part-time position is term-time only, with 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Applications close on 10 April 2026 at 9am.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Manager working at our Sandgate Lower School site. The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, purchasing and preparing of freshly cooked meals in our school kitchen.
