Education World Ltd. is seeking a School Catering Manager for Sunderland to lead the daily running of the school kitchen. The role is 36 hours per week, term time only, with an immediate start and a Monday to Friday pattern.

You will prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals, manage dietary requirements and allergens, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of hygiene and health and safety across the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school kitchen or catering management role.
• A Food Hygiene/Food Safety qualification.
• Strong knowledge of allergen management.
• Ability to manage stock and rotation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day running of the school kitchen.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals per menus.
• Manage dietary requirements and allergens safely.
• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety standards.
• Organise food preparation and meal service efficiently.
• Supervise catering staff.
• Manage stock, ordering, storage, labeling and rotation.
• Keep kitchen records and documentation.
• Ensure kitchen and equipment are clean and safe.
• Collaborate with school staff for efficient service.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
