Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ Level 2 in food preparation and cooking or City & Guilds 706-1 & 706-2 or equivalent OR
• Two years’ experience of food preparation and cooking within a catering establishment
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)

Responsibilities

• Assist with skilled cooking activities for full range of meals including special dietary needs
• Record keeping and hygiene/temperature control in the kitchen
• Assist in supervision of staff and general kitchen management
