Job summary

Concept Resources in Worthing (BN12 4RN) is seeking a School Catering Assistant to support the school kitchen team Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The role is 20 hours per week at £13.50 per hour, with a daytime schedule and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duties include meal preparation, serving pupils and staff, dining area setup, cleaning, and adherence to food hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate is essential.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Experience in catering/kitchen or school meals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with preparation of school meals.
• Serving meals to pupils and staff.
• Setting up dining and service areas.
• Supporting kitchen team during lunch service.
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning work surfaces, kitchen and dining areas.
• Following food hygiene and allergen procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
