Wayman Education is assisting a Westminster-based Independent Secondary School in recruiting a reliable IT Technician to support teaching and admin IT needs. The role involves first-line support, hardware and software troubleshooting, setup of computers, projectors and interactive tech, and keeping inventory and user accounts up to date.

Based in London, this is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to develop technical skills.

Formación

• Experience in IT support or technical support role.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and common software.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and calmly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and pupils.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and connectivity issues.
• Set up computers, laptops, projectors and interactive classroom equipment.
• Maintain school networks and IT systems; manage software updates and inventory.
• Support user accounts, passwords, access permissions and online platforms.
• Escalate complex problems and assist with data security guidance.
