Wimbledon High School is seeking a practical, approachable ICT Technician to ensure technology is reliable for teaching and administration. The role involves responding to hardware and software faults, deploying devices, and supporting BYOD and iOS arrangements.

You will work under the ICT Operations Manager, assisting with system checks, security updates and keeping equipment records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer-focused IT support.
• Practical understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networks and common applications.
• Apple/iOS technology, Microsoft 365 service desk systems or cloud-based services would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical requests from staff and pupils.
• Prepare and deploy devices and install approved software.
• Support BYOD and iOS arrangements.
• Assist with routine system checks, account administration and upgrades.
