Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an IT Technician for a friendly secondary school in Worcestershire, England. The role focuses on reliable day-to-day IT support for staff and students, ensuring systems, hardware and networks run smoothly.

You will install and configure computers, printers and AV equipment; manage user accounts; and assist with classroom technology, including interactive displays and school software such as Microsoft 365. A proactive, customer‑facing mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Providing first line and second-line technical support to staff and students.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
Supporting users with Microsoft 365, Windows and other school-based software systems.
Managing user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
Assisting with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive displays and AV equipment

Responsibilities
