Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an IT Technician to join a friendly school environment. You will provide first and second line technical support to staff and students, and help ensure hardware, software and networks operate effectively on a day-to-day basis.

The role also involves installing and maintaining computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment, supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows, managing user accounts and access, and assisting with classroom technology such as interactive

Qualifications

• Providing first and second line technical support to staff and students.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Supporting users with Microsoft 365, Windows and other school-based software systems.
• Managing user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Assisting with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive displays and AV equipment

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT issues from staff and students in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and fix hardware, software and network problems.
• Install, configure and maintain classroom devices and peripherals.
• Support teachers with Microsoft 365 and Windows-based software.
