Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a Derbyshire school in finding a reliable IT Technician to support staff and pupils. The role focuses on keeping IT systems, hardware and networks running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

You will provide first and second-line support, troubleshoot devices, manage Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, and assist with classroom technology and AV equipment. The school offers a supportive environment and a Good Ofsted rating.

Responsibilities

• Providing first line and second-line technical support to staff and students.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Supporting users with Microsoft 365, Windows and other school-based software systems.
• Managing user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Assisting with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive displays and AV equipment
