Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a reputable school in Hereford, Herefordshire, England, United Kingdom, to find a reliable IT Technician. The role involves keeping day-to-day IT systems, hardware and networks running smoothly, supporting staff and students.

You will provide first and second line support, troubleshoot devices and software, manage user accounts, and assist with classroom technology including interactive displays and AV equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first and second line IT support to staff and students.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining computers, printers and other IT equipment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows in an education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line and second line technical support to staff and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Support users with Microsoft 365, Windows and other school-based software systems.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive displays and AV equipment.
