Job summary

St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist with management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT network across Trust sites in Liverpool. You will support staff and pupils, provide training, and help implement the ICT strategy.

The role requires proactive problem solving, travel within the Trust, and adherence to data protection policies.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pursue relevant IT qualifications.
• Experience supporting staff and pupils with ICT.
• Experience of ICT-related problem solving.
• Knowledge of data protection and IT policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT technical support and services within the Multi Academy Trust.
• Maintain software, hardware and related equipment and support staff/students to maximise learning outcomes.
• Provide training and coaching for staff to upskill and enable access to systems.
• Install and maintain computer hardware, AV equipment and peripherals; manage helpdesk tickets.
• Travel to sites within the Trust to resolve issues and support events as required.
• Ensure ICT equipment meets health and safety requirements and update documentation.
