Job summary

London Borough of Havering is looking for a proactive School IT Support Associate to deliver hands-on IT support across Havering schools and neighbouring sites. You will troubleshoot issues, build relationships with school staff, and help ensure smooth IT operations across multiple locations.

You will work with engineers on projects such as network and Wi‑Fi installations and cloud solutions, supporting the 1st/2nd line service desk while maintaining strong customer service and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and supporting a range of technical services.
• Experience with desktop Windows, cloud-based services (Microsoft 365, Google, Apple), and network/server management in an ITIL environment.
• Willingness to travel between Havering schools and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across Havering schools.
• Travel between sites to troubleshoot issues and maintain IT operations.
