Job summary

Brilliant Secondary School in Cambridge is seeking an IT Technician to join its technical team. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff, troubleshoot issues with Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, and connectivity, and help install and configure hardware and software.

You will also assist with IT projects, upgrades and deployments, support servers, backups and IT security, and maintain accurate support records.

Qualifications

• Two years' IT support experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to develop technical skills; MSP experience or certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops and connectivity issues.
• Install and configure hardware and software.
