Job summary

Reach South Academy Trust is seeking an IT Services Technician for Bournemouth-based roles (1 role). The position involves working across a cluster of schools, providing on-site and remote IT support, with travel to other schools in the area.

The role supports the Trust-wide IT Services team, maintaining hardware/software, responding to helpdesk requests and contributing to knowledge base articles. Closing date: 15th November 2026. Interviews 25th or 27th November 2026 via Teams.

Qualifications

Experience in IT support within the Education, corporate or non-profit sector.
Experience with Microsoft 365.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Respond to and complete tasks as allocated via the IT helpdesk.
Ensure the effective maintenance and management of IT hardware, software and processes.
Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in a timely and effective manner following trust best practices.
Ensure IT asset management is kept up to date with in-life changes.
Support the development of knowledge base articles and runbooks when new procedures are identified.
Provide help and guidance to staff on day-to-day use of IT hardware and software.
