Job summary

Mackenzie Jones Limited is seeking a hands-on IT Network Engineer to manage configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network and core IT infrastructure across four school sites in South West London. The role combines 60% networking with 40% end-user computing and IT infrastructure support, primarily onsite with some holiday-period remote work.

Responsibilities include configuring switches/routers/WAPs, managing VLANs and 365 services, and providing 2nd/3rd line support.

Qualifications

Hands-on configuration, administration and troubleshooting of network switches/routers/WAPs
Experience with VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
Experience with Cisco and Netgear networking technologies
Strong admin experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Exchange Online
Experience with Intune / Endpoint Management and Autopilot

Responsibilities

Configure, administer, maintain and troubleshoot network and core IT infrastructure across four school sites
Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support for Microsoft 365, Intune, Endpoint Management, Windows Server and EUC
Coordinate with ISPs and external suppliers for connectivity and upgrades
Maintain network security including firewalls, NAT, VPNs and content filtering
