Job summary

Mackenzie Jones IT is seeking an IT Network Engineer responsible for the configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network and core IT infrastructure across four school sites in South West London. The role is 60% networking and 40% end-user computing and IT support, with a hands-on focus on switches, wireless, firewall and network security.

The position requires strong 2nd/3rd line skills, experience with Cisco/Netgear equipment, and proficient management of Microsoft

Qualifications

• 2nd/3rd line IT support across networking and infrastructure.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of network switches, routers and wireless APs.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network security.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, AD, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Experience across multiple sites, liaising with ISPs and suppliers.
• Comfort with AV equipment and classroom technology.

Responsibilities

• Configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network and core IT infrastructure.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line IT support across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows Server and end user computing.
• Support across four school sites with liaison to external suppliers.
