Job summary

Moulton Primary School is looking for a proactive IT apprentice to support staff with day-to-day technology and learn on the job alongside experienced colleagues. You will visit and support a range of schools, gaining hands-on experience across devices, networks and classroom technology.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, cyber security awareness and the chance to develop a career in IT within a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate genuine interest in IT and technology.
• Willingness to learn and develop IT skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work with staff and students under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to school staff.
• Set up and maintain laptops, tablets and devices.
• Support interactive screens, projectors and classroom tech.
• Assist with printers, networks and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Support Google accounts and user management.
• Escalate complex issues to experienced technicians when needed.
