Job summary

Turn IT on is seeking an ICT Consultant to support schools across Richmond upon Thames, including Twickenham, Richmond, Hampton and Hayes. You will maintain IT hardware and services and help schools improve ICT provisions for effective teaching.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years’ ICT Technician/2nd line experience (education sector preferred), strong communication and organisation skills, and a proactive customer-focused approach. UK driving license and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK driving license and own a vehicle.
• 2+ years’ ICT Technician/2nd line experience, preferably in education.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting the school’s function with robust solutions.
• Install or repair computers with standardised apps and networking software; diagnose and solve problems.
• Respond to a range of desktop/network duties and upgrade installations (desktops, iPads, printers, AV equipment).
• Maintain school computer equipment and provide user support using common applications like Office365.
