Job summary

Turn IT on is seeking an ICT Consultant to support schools across greater London, including Twickenham, Richmond, Hampton, Uxbridge and Hayes. You will maintain all IT hardware and services across school sites and help raise ICT standards to support teaching and learning.

The role requires a UK driving licence and own vehicle, with 2+ years in ICT support; you will install software, provide user support, and communicate service options to schools. Salary £28k–£32k.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in the education sector.
• Must hold a UK driving licence and own a vehicle.
• Ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms to customers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues affecting school ICT and provide robust solutions.
• Install/repair computers with standard software and networking.
• Maintain school networks, desktops, printers, and AV equipment; provide user support.
