Job summary

Turn IT on is seeking an ICT Consultant to support schools across Oxfordshire. You will maintain IT hardware, install software, provide user support, and help raise ICT standards to improve teaching and learning. A strong customer service mindset and solid technical background are essential.

The role is full-time. A valid UK driving license and own vehicle are required. Salary £28,000–£32,000, with DBS and safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in an education setting.
• Strong technical background with ability to explain issues clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting the school's function with robust solutions.
• Install or repair computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems.
• Respond to a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, including upgrades.
