Westbourne Academy in Ipswich is seeking an on-site IT Technician to support digital transformation as part of Inspiration Trust. You will help modernise networks, devices and identity services while keeping staff and pupils connected and secure.

You’ll maintain Windows 11 devices, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and network services, provide first-line support to staff and pupils, and work with contractors on upgrades, while documenting assets and helpdesk activity.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 11 devices and Microsoft 365.
• Strong end-user support and customer-focused attitude.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly, first-line support for staff and students.
• Keep laptops, desktops, iPads and classroom tech running smoothly.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID; manage accounts and permissions.
• Manage printing, VoIP and peripherals; ensure safeguarding monitoring.
• Collaborate with contractors during installations and provide training.
• Maintain documentation, asset records and helpdesk logs.
