Job summary

KINGS HILL SCHOOL (Cirencester Kingshill School) in Swindon is seeking an IT/AV Technician to join our busy IT team and support students and staff with practical IT solutions. You will work alongside the IT Manager on an IT modernisation programme, maintaining devices, networks and AV equipment across the school.

The role requires IT support experience, strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications, plus good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• IT support experience in an educational environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications.
• Excellent problem solving and clear communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the school.
• Support Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications.
• Maintain devices, networks and AV equipment.
• Provide practical, responsive IT support for students and staff.
• Assist with ICT modernisation projects and potential Google transition.
