Job summary

XACT Placements Ltd. is seeking an ICT Technician to be based in North London. You will be responsible for maintenance of IT hardware and services across school sites, and support the school in improving ICT provisions.

This full-time role requires an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks; 2+ years' experience in education is preferred; Office 365 proficiency and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' similar experience ideally within education.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High level knowledge of common user applications and skilled in using Office 365.
• Skilled in upholding the quality of school computer equipment, installing new and existing software across the network, supplying technical support for users and resolve technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Settle and manage any technical issues that impact the operations by providing efficient technical solutions.
• Installation / repair of computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing, and solving problems that come about in their operations.
• Complete a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, firstly in connection with existing installations and upgrading of these installations. (Desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, pa equipment, AV lecterns and hardware).
