Job summary

HR-CL Limited is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchens across sites in and around Birmingham. You will run the kitchen at each location, maintain high standards, and provide dependable cover for absences, handovers and busy periods.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, daytime hours with evenings and weekends free, offering steady work and weekly pay with holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle for site travel between locations.
• Enhanced DBS check or current certificate on the update service.
• Full understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 preferred).
• Self-sufficient and adaptable to new environments.

• Plan, prepare and cook high-quality meals to a consistent standard.
• Lead and support kitchen teams at each site.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Settle quickly into new kitchens and teams.

Experienced Head Chef needed for ongoing Monday to Friday daytime shifts across sites in and around Birmingham, paying £16-£20 per hour.

About the role

You'll run the kitchen at each location, keep standards consistent, and provide dependable cover for absences, handovers and busy periods. Shifts are ongoing, so you'll have steady work and a settled weekday pattern, with your evenings and weekends free.

About you
