Job summary

HR-CL Ltd is seeking an experienced Head Chef for ongoing Monday to Friday daytime shifts across sites in and around Birmingham. You will lead kitchens, ensure consistent standards and provide dependable cover for absences and busy periods.

You'll travel between sites with a full UK driving licence, hold an enhanced DBS, and manage allergen requirements while delivering high-quality meals. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16-£20, weekly pay and regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle; travel between sites.
• Enhanced DBS check required or current update service certificate.
• Understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Self-sufficient and adaptable to new environments.

About the role

You'll run the kitchen at each location, keep standards consistent, and provide dependable cover for absences, handovers and busy periods. Shifts are ongoing, so you'll have steady work and a settled weekday pattern, with your evenings and weekends free.
