Job summary

HR-CL Limited in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchens across sites in and around Birmingham. You will run the kitchen at each location, uphold standards, and provide dependable cover for absences, handovers and busy periods. Monday to Friday, daytime hours with evenings and weekends free.

You'll manage menu and food safety, train staff, and ensure allergen management. DBS check required, driving licence, and Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle for travelling between sites.
• Enhanced DBS check required (or a current certificate on the update service).
• Full understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook high-quality meals to a consistent standard.
• Lead and support kitchen teams at each site.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Settle quickly into new kitchens and teams.
