The Education Authority in Northern Ireland is seeking a dedicated Supervisory Assistant to help oversee pupil safety and discipline during the mid-day break across the school site.

You will work under the guidance of the Principal/Senior Supervisory Assistant and be involved in supervising dining areas, assisting with meals, managing queues, and addressing minor incidents while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Formación

• Experience working with or supervising children in a formal environment (school, nursery or playgroup).
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding relevant to the role.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the role.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise children in all areas of the school to ensure health and safety and maintain discipline.
• Liaise with the principal/senior supervisory assistant on mid-day supervision matters.
• Deal with minor incidents, accidents or sickness and report serious incidents promptly.
• Supervise meals and queues, manage seating and conduct during dining periods and assist with meal distribution.
