Good Shepherd Trust is seeking a proactive caretaker to keep the school site clean, safe and welcoming. You will manage cleaning, refuse disposal, and assist with general site maintenance to support learning activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring heating and lighting, liaising with contractors, supervising deliveries, and ensuring safety policies are followed. Flexibility for events and lettings is required.

Formación

• Experience in caretaking, cleaning or facilities maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication with staff and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the school site clean and tidy to minimise health and safety risks.
• Collect and dispose of refuse and replenish hand towels, soap and toilet rolls.
• Carry out emergency cleaning and unblocking drainage as required.
• Liaise with cleaning and grounds contractors to maintain high standards.
