Job summary

Education Authority seeks a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness across premises and assist with general cleaning tasks as directed by the line manager. Duties include floor care, carpet cleaning and surface polishing to meet safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires at least three months of cleaning experience and participation in mandatory health and safety training. You will work as part of a team, covering tasks and shifts as needed according to EA procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months’ demonstrable cleaning experience.
• Mandatory EA cleaning service training before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors with appropriate equipment.
• Clean carpets and soft surfaces using proper methods.
• Clean toilets and showers and fixtures.
• Dust ledges, walls, fixtures and surfaces up to 3.35m.
• Polish furniture where applicable.
• Empty litter bins and dispose of waste at designated points.
