Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is hiring for a cleaning operative to join the premises cleaning team. You will perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, machine scrubbing and polishing, and handle carpet stain removal as required.

You will also clean toilets and showers, wipe ledges and walls up to 3.35 m, and manage waste with proper safety and PPE. The role requires adherence to health and safety policies and attendance on training programs.

Qualifications

• Three months' experience of cleaning outside home environment.
• Experience using a range of commercial cleaning tools such as buffing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors with appropriate equipment.
• Clean carpets and remove stains from soft floor surfaces.
• Clean toilets and showers, including fixtures and fittings.
• Wash and dust ledges, walls and fixtures up to 3.35 m, polish furniture.
• Empty litter bins and remove waste to designated points.
