Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a School Cleaner for Littlemoor Primary School in Rawdon. You will join our Total FM Cleaning Team to uphold high cleanliness and hygiene standards within the school environment.

The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.30 pm – 6.30 pm during term time; during holidays you will work daytime hours. A DBS check and COSHH awareness are required, and you will be part of a reliable team dedicated to safe, clean spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning services and equipment with COSHH awareness.
• Good timekeeping and attendance are essential.
• Ability to work to laid-down schedules.
• DBS check is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilet facilities, hand basins and replenish toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, skirting boards and windowsills.
• Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting.
• Damp and spot mop, dust, polish surfaces, sanitise touch points and door handles.
• Follow colour-coding directives and regularly change mop heads and cloths.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our schools. You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team at Littlemoor Primary School, Rawdon, LS19

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent.

You will be working with a team of school cleaners for15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.30 pm – 6.30 pm, during Term Time; then, during the school holidays, you will work your hours during the daytime.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilet facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap and towels
• Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, skirting boards, windowsills and hard surfaces
• Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting
• Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates
• To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.

Key requirements will include:

• Good knowledge, experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety
• Good timekeeping and attendance are important
• Ability to work to laid-down schedules.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
• To meet the child safeguarding regulations, the appointment to this role will be subject to completion of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check) & checkable References.
