Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at Lea Valley Academy in Enfield. You will join our Facilities Team and carry out general cleaning duties to ensure the internal school facilities are cleaned to required standards.

We are looking for reliable individuals with attention to detail, who take pride in creating clean, safe spaces. This is a full-time role (20 hours per week, 4PM–8PM, Monday to Friday) with a 12-month fixed-term

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge and health and safety compliance expected.
• Experience with cleaning duties and equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping floors and dusting surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and surfaces.
• Empty bins and manage waste to designated points.
• Replenish consumables in toilets and staff areas.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and wear PPE as provided.

Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our schools. You will be joining our Facilities Team at Lea Valley Academy in Enfield.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

This is a full-time permanent position working 20 hours per week - 4PM - 8PM, Monday - Friday. The role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping hard floors, vacuuming carpets, damp-wiping desks, tables, chairs, and hard surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, push plates, and other frequently used surfaces.
• Empty bins and ensure the safe collection, storage, and removal of waste to designated collection points.
• Replenish consumables in toilets and staff areas, including soap, paper towels, and toilet roll.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely, following COSHH guidelines and colour coding systems, and wearing PPE as provided.

Key requirements:

• Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment including COSHH and Health and Safety
• Good timekeeping and attendance are important
• Ability to work to laid down schedules.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
• Please Note: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS) & references
