Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness at Lower Wortley Primary School, Leeds. You will join our Total FM Cleaning Team, working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30 pm – 6 pm during term time.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team. A DBS check and references are required prior to appointment, with additional holiday daytime hours in school holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning services and safety guidelines (COSHH) is required.
• Good timekeeping and attendance are important.
• Ability to work to laid-down schedules and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check is required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilet facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap and towels.
• Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, skirting boards, windowsills and hard surfaces.
• Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting.
• Damp & spot mop, dust, polish surfaces and sanitise touch points and door handles.
• Follow colour-coding directives and regularly change mop heads and cloths.

You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team at Lower Wortley Primary School, Leeds, LS12.Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone. Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.
