WMJobs is seeking a Cleaner to join our Dudley-based team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role is 12.5 hours per week, with a total of 42 weeks per year (term time plus three weeks), with an FTE salary in the range £23,050–£23,572 or an actual salary of £7,787.42–£7,963 depending on contracted hours.

The position requires working after school and during school holidays, with deep cleaning tasks undertaken during summer breaks.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Cleaner to work after school each day and during school holidays. During the summer holidays you will be required to work your accumulative hours over a couple of weeks to deep clean the school.

Safeguarding and Checks

• In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, a DBS check with Children’s Barred List verification will be carried out for shortlisted candidates.
• All required pre‑employment checks will be undertaken. These include enhanced DBS, identity checks, online checks, and verification of professional qualifications and references.
• This role involves regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check including the Children’s Barred List Verification through the DfE’s Check a Teacher’s Record.
