Job summary

FOX MORRIS GROUP LTD is seeking reliable School Cleaners to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

We require an Enhanced DBS Certificate with Update Service (mandatory), and prefer previous cleaning experience, though not essential. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team, with high standards of cleanliness and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Dusting and wiping down desks, furniture, and touch points.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies.
• Cleaning internal glass, doors, and windows where required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
• Following cleaning schedules and school hygiene standards.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
• Assisting with deep cleaning duties during school holidays where required.
