Job Description
We are hiring for a Chef Manager at The Blue Coat School, Basingstoke, dedicated to providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensuring the location complies with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation.
• Enhancing the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations.
• Managing the day-to-day operations, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
• Acting as the main contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Regular communication with line managers to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Supporting and training team members to excel in their roles, ensuring all training is completed and performance is managed.
