Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Catering Supervisor for Strathyre Primary School. The role requires 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm) with supervisory responsibilities for food preparation and service, ensuring high standards and compliance with food safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of supervisory cooking experience, with REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable and Elementary Food Hygiene essential. PVG checks for Children are required post-interview.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience in cooking and presentation.
• REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable; Elementary Food Hygiene essential.
• Ability to meet Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act requirements.
• Candidate must be willing to undergo PVG checks for Children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen activities related to food production and service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety legislation.
• Manage kitchen staff and assist in maintaining high standards of cooking and presentation.
