Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Catering Assistant for Allans Primary School to cover the breakfast club provision. The role involves food preparation, basic cooking, food service, and maintaining kitchen hygiene with a focus on health and safety compliance. Training will be provided, and PVG for Children is required if shortlisted.

The position is 5 hours per week during term time, with flexibility for location movement as needed by the service. Pro-rated annual leave and pension benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in Catering is not essential as training will be provided.
• Initially based at one location but may move location with notice.
• Candidate must be a member of PVG for Children.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and basic cooking for breakfast club.
• Provide food service and ensure kitchen hygiene.
• Maintain health and safety in line with Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.
