Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking an Assistant Cook at Killearn Primary School to maintain a high standard of food preparation and service. You will prepare food, cook, serve meals, and ensure kitchen hygiene and health and safety compliance with the Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.

This is a part-time, temporary role (30 hours per week) with a salary of £22,346. The post is based at one location but may move; PVG for Children is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Catering is essential.
• PVG scheme for Children required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and cook for service.
• Provide food service and maintain kitchen hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.
