Aspens Services in Boscastle is hiring a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen during the lunch service. You’ll help with basic food preparation, serve customers at the till, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You’ll work Monday to Friday during term time, about 12.5 hours a week across 38 weeks, with training provided and a DBS check supported. The role pays £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• You are a team player and thrive in a busy school kitchen.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Health and safety basics knowledge required; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Handle tills and provide friendly customer service during service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and keep the kitchen clean and safe.
