Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support our school catering team in Stafford. You will help with basic food preparation and operate tills during service, delivering friendly, efficient service to students and staff.

Working Monday to Friday during term time, 20 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, you will enjoy predictable hours and the chance to grow with a fast‑growing company. Full training is provided, with DBS disclosure as part of our safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction on tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service: friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment and Health & Safety compliance.
